These marks can best be seen on the 2nd to last description photo. For the most part these scuffs are not too deep until it gets to the fine point of the mark where it does look like the glass was. And not just the coating. The last description photo is a test chart taken with this lens where the damage does not have any type of a dramatic effect. The front element is free of any scratches. There are some dust specs on the inside elements, but nothing too bad. The manual focusing and auto focusing are in good working condition. The aperture blades are free of any oil and are correct. The mount and electronic connections are in good condition. No signs of cosmetic wear on the lens barrel.
