This lens has been tested in our store, and is in good working order. The body of the lens is in good/fair condition, and has some noticeable amounts of visible wear from previous use. The rubber grip pieces of the lens are fully attached to the lens body, and are not sticky to the touch. The glass of the lens is in good condition, and is clean and clear from fungus or haze. There is some amount of inner element dust, however, this is common for most used lenses. The zoom moves easily, smoothly, and quietly. Both the auto focus and manual focus modes operate properly, and are easy to turn. The manual focus mode does sometimes make an audible grinding sound when turned, but this is not very loud and does not happen every time the manual focus is turned. This lens looks like it has been well loved enough in its lifetime by past owners to have been used quiet a bit, which is why there is a good amount of wear on the body of the lens. This goes to show that this lens was a favorite of its past owner, and very easily could be your next go to telephoto lens in your photography arsenal.
