Nikon Nikkor AF-D 80-200mm f2.8 ED D IF Lens AF-D comes with an original case I ordered which has a lot of wear on the exterior. It does the trick but looks rough. This is a Pro Level zoom lens from the 80′ and 90’s. It was a mainstay for professional photographers not matter their subject. It is sharp, sharp, sharp when used properly. This is a screw type focusing lens and will only work with Pro Level Nikon AF cameras and the 7000+ series of Nikon Cameras. It will not work with the 3000 or 5000 series of cameras. It will not work with most budget AF bodies made by Nikon so check online to see if your camera body has the “drive motor” need to focus this lens. Pre owned and in excellent condition. See photos of the exact item for sale. I little bit of dust on the inner element as to be expected from use. This does not effect image quality at all. Glass is free of wipe marks, separation or fungus. Focus and zoom action are smooth. As was common with the D series of AF lenses the AF and Manual focus switch broke. I fixed it and it does work though not to original spec. As is common with AF-D lenses and many other older lenses you may need to adjust for front or back focus depending on the camera you are using. It’s an easy task and only needs to be done one time and saved in your camera. There are online tutorials to do this. This lens on my D300 required back focus adjustment.
